Day 01: Cochin -Munnar
On arrival at Cochin airport/ Ernakulam Railway Station, you shall begreeted by our representative and who will transfer you to Munnar (140 Kms/4 hrs) and check into the hotel. Munnar is the luxuriant gift of nature to the Western Ghats, 5000 ft above sea level. Dense forests, wildlife sanctuaries and major cash crop plantations cover most of this region. Munnar abounds in animal like elephants, Nilgiri Thar and rich biodiversity teeming with flora and fauna.Over night stay.
Day 02: Munnar
After breakfast we take you for a full day sightseeing trip of Munnar – covering - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary, home of Nilgiry Thar, considering the ecological faunal,
floral, geo- morphological and zoological significant & Tea Plantation.
Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Munnar- Periyar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and move to Thekkady (120 kms / 4 Hrs). On arrival at Thekkady, check into Hotel. In the evening go for a spice plantation Tour to see crops of cardamom cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estate (Optional). That night stay at the hotel at Periyar.
Day 04: Periyar
Morning at leisure at resort later for boating in the Periyar Lake, its centre
piece of Periyar Wildlife sanctuary also Periyar Tiger reserve, man made lake of the height of 2000 ft. The lake is an important source of water for the many wild animals. The best chance to visit animals during the boating (Optional).
That night stay at the hotel at Periyar.
Day 05: Periyar - Alleppey
After breakfast, check out from Hotel and we drive down to Alleppey (145 Kms / 4 Hrs). On arrival at Alleppey, is a district of immense natural beauty, kwon as the Venice of the East. Check in at the hotel. That night stay at the hotel at Alleppey.
Day 06: Alleppey
Morning at leisure at resort. In Alleppey up and down the narrow canals in the costal region. In the evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater and watching rural life of close quarters- many activities like toddy tapping, fishing, coir- making, prawn farming and scores of other
.
Day 07: Alleppey - Houseboat
Morning at leisure at resort, 1330 hrs check in at houseboat. Rest of the day
is at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Alleppey. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks and dinner will be served. That night stay on Houseboat.
Day 08: Houseboat - Cochin
At morning 10.30 AM boat arrives at Alleppey finishing point jetty. On arrival, check out from houseboat after breakfast and we transfer you to Cochin (90 Kms / 02 Hrs). Check in to hotel. Pm visit: The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing net & the indo-Portuguese Museum. Evening we take to show Kath kali dance (ancient dance of Kerala – Optional). That night stay at the hotel at Cochin.
Day 09: Cochin -Guruvayur
After breakfast and we transfer you to Guruvayur (90kms) check in to hotel, visit Temple, elephant farm, shopping etc.Overnight stay is at Guruvayur.
Day: 10: Departure
Cochin airport / Trichur Railway station. End of Tour and services. Back home with the happy memories of the tour.
