Day 01: Delhi
Shekhawati Desert Tour starts from the state capital of the country, Delhi. After setting foot on the lad of full of history, you will be taken to the hotel. Spend the remaining part of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
On the second day of Shekhawati Desert Tour of Rajasthan, visit the famous historical and religious sites of Delhi. In the morning set off for exploring the beguiling city of Delhi. Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Purana Quila, India gate, Birla Mandir, Humayun's Tomb, Raj Ghat and Lotus Temple are some of the must visit places in Delhi. After full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, return to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel room.
Day 03: Delhi - Nawalgarh
Set off for Nawargarh. This small town in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan is renowned for its beautiful palatial mansions with murals. The history of the town dates back to 1737 A.D. when it was founded by Nawal Singh. After setting foot on the land of havelis with frescoes, you will be taken to the hotel.
Day 04: Nawalgarh - Bikaner
Half-day sightseeing will take you some of the most beautiful havelis with frescoes. Roop Niwas Haveli, Saat Haveli, havelis in Aath (eight) Haveli complex - Anaadilal Poddar haveli, Jodhraj Patodia haveli, Chokhai haveli and Bansidhar haveli are some of the must see places in Nawalgarh. Have a brush with the past while touring these palatial mansions and have a look at narrative murals. Set off for Bikaner. Rao Bikaji founded the desert city of Bikaner in the 15th century. Arrive in Bikaner and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Junagarh Fort, built in the 16th century. Take a tour of the village and experience a laid-back life of the place. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Bikaner - Osian - Jaisalmer
Set off for Jaisalmer en-route Osian. Explore the ancient temple town of Osian and visit its 16 Jain and Brahamanical temples. While driving to Jaisalmer you might spot blackbuck and chinkara. After your arrival in Jaisalmer, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 06: Jaisalmer
On the sixth day of Shekhawati Desert Tour in Rajasthan, enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Rawal Jaisal founded the golden city of Jaisalmer in 1156. Jaisalmer is dotted with a number of fascinating attractions such as the Jaisalmer Fort, Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Patwon Ji Ki Haveli, Jain temple, etc. Enjoy camel safari in sand dunes on your visit to Sam / Khuri village. Watch the breathtaking sunset over the vast desert. Return to the hotel for night stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 07: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
In the morning, depart for the blue city of Jodhpur. Arrive in Jodhpur and transfer to the hotel. There is a lot to see and do in Jodhpur. Explore the historical and religious sites while in Jodhpur. Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Jaswant Thada are some of the famous tourist attractions in Jodhpur. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 08: Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
On your way to Udaipur, visit the Jain temple complex in Ranakpur. Continue your tour to Udaipur. Also referred as the Venice of the east, Udaipur boasts of its fairy-tale palaces, picturesque lakes and beautiful temples. Established by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1559 A.D., Udaipur is blessed with the best of nature's beauty. It is one of the most romantic cities in the country. On your arrival in Udaipur, transfer to the hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur
There is a lot to see in the city of Lakes, which includes the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Jag Mandir and the Pratap Memorial. Full day sightseeing tour of the city will take you the city will acquaint you to the historical and religious sites of the place. Return to the hotel after Udaipur tour for overnight stay.
Day 10: Udaipur - Delhi
Set off for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Spend remaining part of the day at leisure. Overnights stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Delhi
On the last day of Shekhawati Desert Tour of Rajasthan, you will be taken to the airport/railway station.
